Terms of Service.

These terms govern your use of the Poppukon application and the services at poppukon.net (together, "Poppukon", "the Service", "we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

1. What Poppukon is

Poppukon is a media player and community application: a catalogue of publicly available metadata about anime (titles, artwork, episode information, airing dates), a video player, and social features such as lists, comments and watch-together rooms.

Poppukon hosts, stores and provides no audio-visual content. The application ships with no media sources of any kind. It can play media only from locations that third-party sources you choose to add make available to it, in the same way a web browser displays websites you navigate to.

2. Third-party sources

Sources are independent third-party services. You choose whether to add any, and which. When you use a source, your device communicates with that source's operator — not with us.

• Source operators are solely responsible for the source and for anything it makes available, including its legality in your jurisdiction.
• We do not develop, host, endorse, monitor or curate sources, and we receive no data about what a source serves you.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your use of any source complies with the laws that apply to you.

3. Intellectual property

We respect the rights of content owners. Because Poppukon neither hosts content nor operates sources, infringement claims about streamed material should be directed at the service actually hosting it. If you believe a source or any user-submitted material on our community surfaces infringes your rights, contact us at the contact page — where the claim concerns something we actually control, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to it.

4. Your account

Accounts are registered with a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for what happens under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

5. Community rules

Comments, threads, profiles and other things you post must not contain unlawful material, harassment, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights. We may moderate, edit visibility of, or remove user content and may restrict accounts that abuse the Service. You keep ownership of what you post; you grant us the licence needed to display it inside the Service, including on poppukon.net.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, probe or overload our infrastructure, scrape it at scale, resell access to it, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful material.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change or be withdrawn. We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising from third-party sources, service interruptions, or content posted by users.
